So the series goes to the wire, and you couldn't have predicted that: India have done so well to come back from 3-1 down. Their resurgence really started at Headingley on Sunday with some stunning batting, then they really kept their heads in the chase here. Dravid's so animated now, he's loving this, embracing all of his players, then regaining his composure to shake hands with the England team. So, thanks for coming along for the ride today, next stop Lord's - do join us on Saturday for the series decider. Very entertaining, indeed.

Broad to Uthappa, FOUR runs

driven through mid-off and India win - terrific work from Uthappa and his inclusion has more than paid off

Broad and Collingwood in intense discussion now. Fine leg back or up? He's gone back. Long-off's come up

49.3
4
Broad to Uthappa, FOUR runs

good shot that, down the track, expecting the full ball and helping it right round through a very fine leg

In fact, Zaheer didn't even try to get back into his crease, he was backing up so much

49.2
W
Broad to Uthappa, OUT

yorker, dug up there and Broad gets him with a piece of intelligent cricket - how did he keep his cool there? - by beating Zaheer in the sprint back to the non-striker's end and held the ball in his hands all the way

Zaheer Khan run out (Broad) 0 (0b 0x4 0x6 1m) SR: 0

Broad to Uthappa, 2 runs

unsurprising full ball, and they came back for two - it was risky but he made his ground fairly comfortably in the end

The final over now, ten needed. It's tres tense

1W
Anderson to Uthappa, 1 run, OUT

gone! Going for the two, Anderson did well to pick up the return from Bell and pick out the striker's end with a direct hit

Ajit Agarkar run out (Bell/Anderson) 1 (1b 0x4 0x6 4m) SR: 100
48.5
2
Anderson to Uthappa, 2 runs

worked to fine leg, Panesar makes a hash of it, but is quick to recover and chase

Anderson can only smile

Anderson to Uthappa, FOUR runs

Walked down the crease, the ball just misses leg. Prior really should have had that one

300 up

1
Anderson to Agarkar, 1 run

short of a length, slower ball, cut away to deep point and the strike's back with Uthappa

Agarkar to face his first delivery now

Anderson to Uthappa, 1 run

on leg, worked out to deep square where it's whooshed back in

Anderson to Uthappa, FOUR runs

down the track, huge outside edge, runs all the way

An important over from Broad, good example of death bowling. Agarkar is the new batsman. 23 needed from 12 balls now...

47.6
W
Broad to Dhoni, OUT

bowled him - Dhoni shuffling over to off to try to sweep it round, but the ball nutmegged him and appeared to get a thin bobble off the inside of his left pad - I'll confirm after replays

MS Dhoni b Broad 35 (37b 3x4 0x6 50m) SR: 94.59

1
Broad to Uthappa, 1 run

full toss once more - Broad favouring the fuller length - and pulled out straight towards long-on, where it's cut off once more

Cheers from the crowd

47.4
1
Broad to Dhoni, 1 run

full again, and driven out to the man at long-on, again on the bounce

47.3
1
Broad to Uthappa, 1 run

decent ball, up there, results in a drive to long-off

47.2
Broad to Uthappa, no run

good bowling, ugly shot - Broad zooming over the sticks, as Uthappa walks way outside his off stump to try the hoick to leg - but connects with nothing

47.1
1
Broad to Dhoni, 1 run

full toss - deliberate? - gets away with it, anyway, as Dhoni can only pick out long-on on the bounce

end of over 4715 runs

Paul Collingwood 8-0-54-0

Big, important over that for India, 15 off it. They need nine an over now - 27 runs from three overs. David Lloyd, ex-England coach of course, is clamouring for Broad to bowl. Who will it be, though? It looks like they're replacing the ball, which has gone a bit ragged with all that batt(er)ing. Time for a quick drink for the batsmen, meanwhile. And it is indeed Broad to bowl, now.

46.6
1
Anderson to Dhoni, 1 run

swings a single to mid-off

46.5
4
Anderson to Dhoni, FOUR runs

what an extraordinary shot that was - and nearly a six. Dhonie goes down on one knee to meet a full toss and he straight sweeps it right behind him and it pings away like a flat golf shot. Most unusual

Anderson's bowling in this spell has deserved better than this

46.4
2
Anderson to Dhoni, 2 runs

more orthodox this time, a sweep to bring up the fifty partnership and there's an overthrow to boot

46.3
1lb
Anderson to Uthappa, 1 leg bye

hopeful appeal for lbw, the batsman well outside the line of off - bit of an ungainly defence, though, with Bambi-like splayed legs agogo
