all over! Fast on a good length outside off stump, pitches and cuts in sharply off the surface, Agarkar stands and drives loosely but plays all over it and loses his off stump, Kallis gets his third and South Africa have won by 157 runs and take a 1-0 lead in the series
South Africa vs India, 2nd ODI at Durban, Nov 22 2006 - Ball by Ball Commentary
So South Africa win by 157 runs. India were bowled out for 91 in 29.1 overs, their lowest score against South Africa. South Africa rallied around Jacques Kallis' unbeaten 119 to post 248 for 8, and India never looked in the hunt after Shaun Pollock struck two early blows. From there onwards, Andre Nel and Charl Langeveldt kept the pressure on the Indians and Kallis chipped in with three wickets himself. He's the Man of the Match. India are now 0-1 down as the series moves to Cape Town for the third match on Saturday, November 26.
