Full commentary

A win was never in doubt for Punjab after the blistering start provided by Sangakkara and Marsh. The rest of the batsmen played around Marsh to bring up the win after Sangakkara's dismissal. Spinners from both the sides bowled good spells. Yuvraj failed to get going yet again and that will bother Punjab.

Adam Gilchrist, the losing captain, is happy the batting clicked, and that besides the first six overs, the bowlers also did a good job. He finishes off by saying the IPL has not only been profitable for Indian youngsters but also for Australian youngsters, such as Marsh and Luke Pomersbach.

Yuvraj Singh is pleased with the way his spinners have performed today and hopes his batting form returns before the semi-finals. Shaun Marsh is the Man of the Match for the fourth time in the eight matches he has played. He says he's lucky enough to play in the tournament and is even more happier for making the most of the opportunity given to him.
