cracked through the covers, full from Parnell, and there's ample room and time to get the boundary
And that's it from the team for today's match. From me, Firdose, and Raghav, it's goodnight til next time. Thanks for the company. Cheers.
Amit Mishra: "I am feeling nice that the team is winning. I am working hard on my bowling. The wicket was helping spin a bit, so I also tried the googly. Our overseas players were not performing, but they have done well in the last two games."
Kumar Sangakkara: "Another well-played game. We bowled really well, Ravi Teja's catch turned it around for us. We have to do a lot of work, be more athletic, fielding will be a key for us. Batting and bowling, skill wise, we are alright. It was a privilege playing with the Deccan Chargers. All the local Indian boys have made a lot of difference for us. England will be a nice change. I love to play Tests, will need to make a few technical adjustments."
Yuvraj Singh: "We had to win all three but unfortunately nothing went out way. The batters let the team down again. No point in saying we are a better team than we looked, but you have to perform. Some youngsters will get a chance and some overseas players. Now we have to play for pride."
Deccan have ended Pune chance's of qualifying for the knockouts. They made light work of a moderate total and sent off Kumar Sangakkara with a win.
Pune will be disappointed, having had such a good side on paper this tournament. Deccan will be left wondering what if, they seem to have found form when it doesn't matter.
Stay with us for the presentation.
Dhawan: I've been getting out in the 20s a lot, I'd like to make bigger runs for my team. In the last game, I'd like to score big runs for the team and end off with a win. Darren Lehmann has told us to just enjoy the game, keep it simple. I would like to play for India again and stay there for a long time.
starts with a short one, pulled down to fine leg, collected on the bounce
Parnell to bowl the last, big ask for the young man
trying another big shot, the big pull but gets a bottomish edge to short fine, Deccan determined to go out with a big bang
gives this one an almighty thwack, whips it through midwicket
Christian mistimes, slogs across the line and gets a leading edge over where slip would be, runs away for a couple
pushed to mid-wicket, no one there to stop the runs, easy
driven to long on
Yuvi keeps it straight and Christian knocks it back to him
bouncer to end the over, Chipli doesn't even try wrestle with that one
wicket to wicket again, Chipli pushes into the off side and wants one, Parnell is swooping again and just as he is about to collect, Yuvi comes charging in, Parnell goes down and covers his head for fear of being attacked, Yuvi lifts him up and laughs
Parny cleans up his SA teammate. What a super ball. He's been fast and furious in this over and keeps this one straight. Duminy is not watching as he should be and ge plays too late, legstump is pinged back and there's some joy for an otherwise listless Pune
quick again and Duminy looks to cut but that's too quick on him and he misses
fires it in full, drives to mid off and Marsh moves quickly to cut it off
Parnell is back and its steered down to third man
defends into the leg side, 12 off this over, and 13 left to get
along the ground to long on this time
Duminy gets going, What a biggie! Comes down the track a littl and hits over long on, very big and victory is close now
driven to covers for a quick single
tries to hit it through square leg but can't beat the fielder there
Yuvi brings himself back and Christian is on the drive, times it well to mid on and its four
