end of game. Fullish length, outside off, Dinda backs away, opens the face of his bat and chips it to the right of Mishra diving to his left at cover

Boy was that a rough wide for Pune. They sorely missed their regular captain Steven Smith today, but their issues go deeper than that - their specialist fast-bowling resources for starters. Of course, still pretty early days in the tournament, but twin defeats after opening with a win will get them thinking. That's it from us for this match. Be back tomorrow with Mumbai Indians v Sunrisers Hyderabad. See you then. Until then, goodbye from all of us here.
"Very happy to play this knock and very happy that the team won the match," says Sanju Samson, Man of the Match. "I am blessed to be a part of this team, working with Rahul sir and the rest of the support staff. I am in a very good space of mind and the people here have always backed me and encouraged me. I am very keen to finish innings and make my team win matches. I am learning about it and hopefully I will get better in the coming years. Morris hit some big ones and Rishabh Pant also batted well. We played a very good match. I enjoyed my fielding and batting today."
"We needed that," says Daredevils captain Zaheer Khan. "This team has tremendous potential, we just need to back ourselves. We have some amazing talent, you see Samson batting like that and Morris going at it in the end. It's just about focusing on our processes. We have guys like Rabada and Shami and Jayant who has a Test hundred sitting out. It's good to look at the bench and see that we have the firepower. I think I have strong muscle memory. Those 92 Test matches have helped me find the right length. I am lucky to have the physios guiding me the right way and I am enjoying myself. We are a young side and we need to show that on the field, the energy needs to be visible. I try to push them a bit, but I think it comes naturally to them. We did a lot of things right in the first game. A win changes the atmosphere. It creates self-belief, and from that point of view, this is important."
11.14pm That was utter annihilation. Daredevils pick up their biggest win of the IPL and it is 30 better than their previous best. Every single batsman in the Supergiant innings was out caught, and you can see why. They were chasing more than 200 and had to take their chances, but came nowhere close. Splendid performances from Mishra and Zaheer. Chris Morris once again showed why he is such a valuable asset for Daredevils, but star of the night was Sanju Samson, who blitzed his maiden T20 hundred. Presentations shortly.
"We thought 180-190 would we good on this wicket, but credit to Delhi for the way they batted, especially Sanju in the middle overs and Chris Morris in the end," says Supergiant captain Ajinkya Rahane. "I think our bowlers, I felt in the middle bowled very well. But in the last three overs, they got the momentum - Sanju, the way they carried the innings and those sixes by Morris. When you are chasing 200-plus, you need to take your chances. There are a couple of areas for improvement, still early days in the tournament and I am sure we will learn."

oh, what a catch by Karun Nair at first slip. That is a stunner. They are checking if the catch is clean. Soft signal is out. That's pretty close. Nair gets down to his left with his hand outstretched. He takes it fine as he gets his hands to it but he just appears to have let the ball drop to the turf as he gets down. Does he have his fingers underneath? This may take some hard looking at before the third umpire decides. Not out is the call.Coming to the delivery, it was full, and angling across. The batsman tries to clip it across the line and closes the face of his bat early, finds the outside edge
