Kenealy wasn't going to hang around and hits out at the ball, doesn't time it well and Tahuhu runs to her right at extra cover to take the final catch
NZ Women vs IRE Women, 2nd ODI at Dublin, Jun 10 2018 - Ball by Ball Commentary
With the final quick falling this excellent New Zealand team complete their second comprehensive win in three days.
New Zealand bowlers were all impressive, with the wickets being shared between six of the seven bowlers used.
The Irish batters couldn't cope with the pace of Tahuhu and Huddleston, nor the spin when it came on.
Delany top scored with 33 although with only two other batters making it into double figures. There was only ever going to be one winner of the game.
New Zealand now lead the series 2-0 and can't be caught, although there is still one more game in the series to come. It's goign to be in Clontarf on Wednesday, so I hope that you'll be able to join me then.
So until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from the Hills.
bends the back and pulls the ball towards mid-on
steps forward and guides the ball to backward point
how did that miss? Murray has a big swing at the ball, she misses the ball, the ball misses the stumps and the keeper misses the ball....
looks to swipe at the ball, misses and the keeper gathers
It pitches on the stumps and Little plays down the wrong line, the bails get knocked off and Ireland are nine down
plays along the pitch back to the bowler
too wide outside the off-stump this time
full ball, drifts down the legside
its in the slot for Little and she throws the kitchen sink at the ball, over the top of extra cover and away
waits in the crease, plays it into the covers
onto the front foot and defends back down the pitch
hits out to short mid-wicket
have that! Its a mow across the line from Kenealy and it flies to the wide long-on boundary
turned round the corner
fuller ball, on legstump and defends into the legside
onto the front foot and defends
Match State: Drinks
We really seem to be coming into the final rites of this game, with only 2 wickets left Ireland still need another 319 runs.
Got to say that it does seem very very unlikely....
Waktin to come on after drinks
stays in the crease and bunts the ball into the off-side. That's drinks
hits a foothole and stays very low, lucky not to be bowled
swings at this one, the spin takes it away from the bat and the keeper takes off the bails. Not out
