12:30am: Nawaz, the 21-year old, set the PSL opener up for Quetta with his four-wicket haul. He then produced a cameo with the bat. The chase, however, was driven by Wright's rousing half-century, the first of this tournament. Quetta eventually eased to an eight-wicket win, after the start was pushed to 9:30pm. Nawaz is the Man of the Match
Nawaz: I am quite happy with my performance. Pressure was there, it was positive. Babar, the senior bowler, helped me out. I am an allrounder, and I have done well in domestic cricket. I will look to prove myself here.
Misbah: We started poorly with the ball and bat also. We kept losing wickets. We did not get much time, but we need to apply ourselves. You can't give excuses. The applied better and won. If the pitches are like that, more moisture, so we need to add another spinner.
Sarfraz: There was the dew factor, it was the right decision to bowl first. The bowlers bowled well and Wright gave us a good start. It is great to have Viv Richards in the side.
Wright: Very delighted with the win. The spinners bowled beautifully. It din't feel easy. The PSL is great, we all know how important this is for Pakistan. We are all proud to play in this league. It will be a success. We still have a long way to go. We will look to build on the positives.
