0.3 to Babar Azam, this is close, it's plumb, in fact! The umpire raises the finger! Poor Babar's in too much pain to even consider referring this. Struck him on the side of the leg and while it looked as if it might have been missing leg stump, KK haven't reviewed. They lose their talisman for a duck. 1/1 6.3 to Sharjeel Khan, gets his man! The pace got too hot to handle for Sharjeel. Banged into the pitch and reared up around neck height for Sharjeel. He couldn't keep his pull shot down, and Haider Ali completes a simple catch at deep midwicket. 37/4 16.1 to Imad Wasim, taken at extra cover. Short of a length and in the corridor. Clears the front leg and looks to pull over midwicket. But the extra pace from Riaz means it gets to him rapidly and he top edge a feeble one for the fielder/ Wasim can't get to the 20th over, this innings is in rapid decline. 73/7

2.5 to MJ Guptill, absolute pearler! That's unplayable from Sameen Gul. Banged into a good length angling into him, but seams and bounces away from the bat. The New Zealand batsman could only try and push at it, but it hits him high on the edge, with Kamran Akmal taking a routine catch. 12/2 2.6 to CAK Walton, and he's gong back in immediately. Unplayable from Gul once more. Copious inswing from well outside off stump. It clatters into Walton's front pad fairly low on the shin, and this looks very close. He has reviewed.. It shows it's just clipping the top of leg, and the on-field decision stands. Brilliant start from Peshawar. 12/3

13.4 to Najibullah Zadran, holes out to long-off! Abrar has a wicket, and his arms spread in celebration. It's a carrom ball, but it is short and wide. Zadran looks to pummel that over long-off with a flat bat, but that is a difficult shot to hit and long-off tracks back a few steps to hold on. The attempted release shot results in a wicket. 67/5 13.6 to Aamer Yamin, gets him this time! Good length and drfited into off stump, then pitching and turning as he gets forward and has a jab at that. Gets a thick edge and Akmal hangs on sharply to his right, on the second attempt. Abrar spreads his arms and takes off in the direction of the dugout. 67/6 17.4 to Waqas Maqsood, stumping send upstairs. And that is out. Googly outside off at a length, steps out and has a big swing at that. Is beaten big time and Akmal takes the bails off. Third umpire is checking Ultra Edge for an outside edge. There isn't one, that will be stumped. Third wicket for Abrar. 86/8 |

1.6 to Kamran Akmal, cleaned him up! This time the inswinger breaches Akmal's defences. He tried to drive it to mid-off once more, but leaves a gap between bat and pad, through which the ball bursts and takes the off stump. Huge wicket for Karachi!. 15/1

9 to Haider Ali, and they have another! Three wickets with no addition. Unless that's called a wide. Googly, short of a length and wide outside off. Haider steps out and into the leg side and has a long way to reach out to that as it skids away from him. Doesn't reach, nearly falls over, and is out by a long way. Doesn't even wait for the replay, goes to the dugout and has his head in his hands. 100/4

8.2 to Hazratullah Zazai, hits off stump. Length, skidding on quickly. Very typically Imad. Finds a way through Zazai, who swings across the line and misses. What an absolute pleasure this innings has been. Really rubbed it in for Karachi on a miserable evening for them. The man with the joint-fastest fifty in ALL T20s, gets the joint-fastest PSL fifty on debut. 99/2 8.4 to Shoaib Malik, taken at long-off! Malik looking to finish things off, gets a decent amount of bat on that. But it was a quick whippy shot because of Imad's pace. Stepped out, got to the pitch, couldn't get the elevation to clear Guptill. 99/3 |
