That is it from me, Suneer Chowdhary, the live coverage of the SLPL 2012 continues tomorrow with a couple of games. Have a good evening!

Hafeez: We tried giving chances to youngsters, bowling was not up to the mark but the youngters did well. Lynn played well, it all came off for him, 130 was a par score but his batting took them to 150.

Jayasuriya: Yes, it was very close, we did not have a good start by Chris batted well to get to 149. Overall, the bowlers did well, under pressure they did well and barring the 19th over we did well. We have another game tomorrow and need to focus on winning it, tough to play back to back games but we are looking forward to it.

Lynn, who is the man of the match: It was good to get an opportunity and happy to contribute. Took some time to get going, more than happy with the win. Good fun to play in front of the band and some experience doing that.

Third win for Kandurata pushes them to six points and it also means that they are almost through to the semi-finals. Wayamba lose their first game in the tournament, with a team that was admittedly a depleted one. Hold on for the presentation.

4
Tanvir to Abdul Razzaq, FOUR runs

yorker length, goes fuller in fact and Razzaq swings hard at it, is able to bisect the field at wide long-on and it goes to the fence for a four, good shot too but that is two runs short of the tie!

Many captains on the field right now. Razzaq looks cool but six to tie is difficult.

19.5
1b
Tanvir to Siriwardana, 1 bye

outside the off, very full and he gets no bat on it, they still run for a bye, which means that Wayamba need six to tie.

19.4
1
Tanvir to Abdul Razzaq, 1 run

full toss on his pads and that has been swung away but straight to the fielder at deep fine-leg, only a single!

19.3
1
Tanvir to Siriwardana, 1 run

slower ball and he wanted to slog it over, beats him but the top edge falls within the circle, they could have got a second, Tanvir wanted strike!

Third-man and fine-leg up in the circle.

Hastings to Siriwardana, FOUR runs

another one, another four, what a shot at such a crucial moment, it was a good length ball on the off stump and he punched it through the covers for a four, the extra-cover fielder got some hand there but failed to stall the flow!

4
Hastings to Siriwardana, FOUR runs

poor ball, outside the off, short of length and enough room with third-man and point inside the circle, cracks it away for a four!

W
Hastings to Abdul Razzaq, 1 run, OUT

another slower one, Razzaq got some bat on it and got it through to long-on, they get a single, the non-striker wanted to come back for the second to get the Pakistani on strike, but Razzaq does not respond to it and he is run-out at the striker's end

Hastings to Abdul Razzaq, SIX runs

full-toss and spank! It was a juicy full-toss and that has been dispatched over mid-wicket for a six!

18.2
Hastings to Abdul Razzaq, no run

a very, very slow delivery and Razzaq tried to go for a big shot before checking his shot, almost as though he wanted a wide, the ump was having none of it

Hastings to Abdul Razzaq, 2 runs

right in the block-hole, on the leg stump and he is able to get bit of a bat on that one, runs away to deep square-leg for a couple of runs, poor throw.

32 needed from two overs. Not impossible, although very difficult on this track. Hastings come in now.
