All over!, down the leg side, Sangakkara flicks it to backward square leg fence, good shot
England vs Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI at Chester-le-Street, Jun 24 2006 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Sri Lanka win by 8 wickets. They have completely outplayed England, wonderful effort to wrap up this series, they now lead the series 3-0. Wonderful knock from Jayawardene for his 126 of 127 balls. Early on, Jayasuriya and Tharanga gave a good start, which laid the foundation for the run chase. Then Sangakkara came in and gave the support to Jayawardene to finish things off in style. Poor bowling from the England bowlers, the Sri Lankan batsmen hit boundaries at will to all parts of the ground, a total of 35 boundaries and a six were hit. Jayawardene picks up the man of the match award.
