Sri Lanka earn consolation victory

Dilhara Fernando, an accurate set of throws and the omnipresent panic button accompanying the Pakistan team earned Sri Lanka a well-deserved victory in the final match

Scorecard summary
Sri Lanka296/9(50 overs)
Pakistan181/10(42.5 overs)

Sri Lanka register a facile win to give a farewell gift to Moody. Mahela Jayawardene caressed his way while Chamara Silva swept and cut his way as the duo capitalised on a breezy start given by Tharanga to lift Sri Lanka to a healthy total. Pakistan never got going, collapsing to 114 for 7, but Shoaib Malik gave them some semblance of respectability with an unbeaten 79. So, Pakistan win the series, Sri Lanka earn a consolation win and all go home happy.
