0.2 to ADS Fletcher, edged and gone. Fletcher goes first ball. Malinga gets him with an impeccable length, forcing Fletcher to prod at it defensively outside the off stump. He gets a thick outside edge which is easily taken by Kusal. The umpire wants to check the front foot but there is only one inconclusive replay. Too much doubt to be given a no-ball and Fletcher has to go. Terrific start, bringing Fletcher forward and the ball moves away to take the outside edge. Nice fullish length there. 1/1 31.2 to JN Mohammed, sitter is taken. Mohammed's struggle comes to an end. Slower ball outside off, no cut on the ball, and it takes the leading edge which ends up in Chandimal's lap at cover. Soft dismissal but Malinga showing off his death-bowling skills. 169/6

28.2 to JL Carter, bowled im. Carter chops onto his stumps. Good length outside off and the wet ball skids onto Carter who is cramped for room, he chooses to play the heave anyway and gets a thick inside edge onto his stumps. He isn't very happy with his shot selection.. 152/5

4.1 to J Blackwood, and the change works immediately. Blackwood dances down the track and slogs this straight into the air, the ball carries to mid-on who backtracks and takes a good catch. Just flighted that on a fullish length and as soon as Blackwood saw the amount of air on the delivery, he stepped down but misjudged the length badly. Did not get close to that. Good captaincy but not clever batting.. 29/2

15.5 to DM Bravo, picks the fielder at midwicket! Against the run of play, SL have a wicket. Short on middle but the ball skids on a touch, Bravo looks to pull over that fielder at midwicket but he doesn't get under that enough and the ball sits up for Dilshan to take in front of his face at midwicket. Siriwardana gets the wicket again when Mathews needs one. 99/3 23.2 to J Charles, gone! He has been given. Charles gets down and looks to sweep but the ball sneaks through and his him in front of off, Charles discusses with Samuels but takes too long before deciding to go for the review. The umpire refuses the review and he has to go. Just drifted on with the arm on that occasion and he missed a straight ball. Don't think the review would have been any good. 139/4

30.2 to MDKJ Perera, he has gone! What a shame. Short ball outside off, Kusal goes back and tries to pull to the leg side but the ball is angled across and he goes through with the shot. The ball slices up straight up in the air and carries to short fine leg who takes a good running, overhead catch. Kusal is distraught after that shot but he has to go for 99. 196/2

4.1 to TM Dilshan, what was that? That may have swung. An inswinger takes out off stump. What a start that is. Wobbled in the air and pitched outside off and swung in to take out Dilshan's off bail. Dilshan is flabbergasted and rightly so. He had no clue of that. Add that to his repertoire.. 40/1
