Reinvented India hit the fast track to success

Vic Marks, in the Observer, talks about India's transformation and the effect it has had on the side's results.

29-Jun-2013

The transition from a dependence on senior players, who led the side to the World Cup win in 2011, to the young side has helped the team, with the selection of cricketers who are hungry, motivated and gifted. In the Observer, Vic Marks credits MS Dhoni and Duncan Fletcher with this transformation.
Our Antipodean friends keep reminding us of the difficulties of rebuilding. They explain that there is bound to be a dip in form now that Ricky Ponting and Mike Hussey have moved on.
