The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed the draw for the semi-finals of the 2000 Benson and Hedges Cup.

Cardiff: Glamorgan v Surrey, Saturday 27 May

Bristol: Gloucestershire v Lancashire, Sunday 28 May

Each of the semi-finals has one reserve day allocated. Both matches will be televised live by Sky Sports.

A number of PPP healthcare County Championship matches have consequently been rearranged, now that the Benson and Hedges Cup semi-final draw has been made. The following games will now be played from Tuesday 23 May - Friday 26 May, a day earlier than previously scheduled:

Hamphire v Lancashire (Southampton)

Glamorgan v Warwickshire (Cardiff)

Kent v Surrey (Canterbury)

The following Norwich Union National Cricket League matches will now be played on Bank Holiday Monday, 29 May, a day later than originally scheduled:

Glamorgan v Derbyshire (Cardiff)

Surrey v Essex (The Oval)

Gloucestershire v Lancashire (Bristol)*

*This match will be played on Monday 4 September if the Benson and Hedges Cup semi-final between these two sides goes over to the reserve day.
