Bermuda's domestic structure continues to be a shambles after a weekend where seven leading league matches failed to take place. A range of excuses were given for cancellations, but the overriding impression is of a complete mess.
At Southampton Oval, the Premier Division match between Southampton Rangers and St.George's was scrapped after the home side failed to appear, and it was the same story in the Police and Flatts tie at Police Field.
Only six Devonshire Recreation Club players turned up for their tie against St David's and Willow Cuts players also failed to show for their game against Western Stars.
There were full contingents for the game between Young Men's Social Club and Bailey's Bay but the match was called off as the pitch had not been prepared.
Somerset's fixture against PHC was abandoned after the umpires failed to show, while a match at Wellington Oval had to be pulled after it was discovered the ground has been shut for the remainder of the season.
