Botswana and Mali become members of the ICC

The ICC Development Program - Africa has two reasons to smile today as her two nominated countries to Affiliate and Associate status respectively has been accepted, at the ICC AGM in London.

The Botswana Cricket Association was today officially accepted as an Associate Member, with new member Mali Cricket Federation coming in as an affiliate.

The BCA President, who was an observer at the AGM proceedings, said, "We are thrilled and humbled by the vote of acceptance and look forward to the challenges that await us. We thank the RDM- Africa, Hoosain Ayob, and the rest of Africa for believing in us and we will do our best to do Africa proud.

The RDM said, "God is smiling on Africa today. Congratulations to Mali and Botswana!!"
