Pakistan women will warm up for their series against West Indies and South Africa by facing Delhi in a five-match one-day series which starts at the end of March. Twenty seven Pakistan players are currently training at the National Cricket Academy but the squad will be shortlisted to 16 on March 28, three days before the first match at Bagh-e-Jinnah.
These warm-ups, and the subsequent international series, are all part of Pakistan's preparations for the Asia Cup qualifiers which will be held in October. Should Pakistan qualify, the team will then play in the tournament in November.
"We will be trying different combinations in the series against Delhi Greens in the five-match one-dayers," said the PCB women's secretary, Shamsa Hashami. "This will help us for a proper team for the future national assignments."
