Eagles lead as the Belgian League continues

Centuries in the same match by Jung 101 not out (Optomists C.C.) and Niaz 101 (Antwerp 1) are the highlights of the Belgian Cricket League First Division competition so far.

Eagles leads the competition table, with the rest of the teams trailing in this order - Pakistan Greens, Royal Brussels Cricket Club 1, Optomists 1, Antwerp 1, 12 Stars, Mechelen, AICC and PCBB, RBCC 2, Optomists 2.

Although presently in seventh position, Mechelen has surprised in its initial season since being promoted from the Second Division, with wins over 12 Stars and AICC.

It's key player has been Gothaskar with innings of 70 against AICC and 64 not out versus 12 Stars.
