Indian cricket star Saurav Ganguly on Monday finally confirmed reports that he had married in secret.

Ganguly, just back from taking part in a one-day tournament in Sri Lanka which also included Australia and Zimbabwe, said he had married 21-year-old dancer Dona Roy on August 13.

The 24-year-old batsman, who had denied getting married earlier, said the parents of both families had now accepted the union after initially opposing it.
