HKCA Exec seeks nominations for Sub-Committee positions
The HKCA Executive Committee recently reviewed its committee structure and resolved that there would be 9 committees that report to the Executive Committee covering a range of the Association's activities.

The HKCA Executive Committee recently reviewed its committee structure and resolved that there would be 9 committees that report to the Executive Committee covering a range of the Association's activities. These are shown in the attached chart and comprise:
- League and Cup Committee
- Match and Disciplinary Committee
- Selectors Committee
- Staff Committee
- Grounds Committee
- Sixes and Events Committee
- Development Committee
- International Committee
- Finance and Marketing Committee
Each will be chaired by a member of the Executive Committee and will report regularly to the Board.
In terms of membership, some of these are fixed or appointed by the Executive Committee itself whilst a number are open for nomination by members and appointment by the Executive Committee. The following committees are open for nomination at present:
- Match and Disciplinary Committee: 3 members, at least 1 of whom should have a legal background.
- Development Committee: 2 members appointed by the Executive Board.
- International Committee: 2 members appointed by the Executive Committee, 1 of whom may be a player's representative.
Nominations for the above committees remain open until 3PM on Wednesday, 30th October 2013, following which the Executive Committee will determine the appointments. Nominations should be sent to the General Manager, Hong Kong Cricket Association via email to pauline.cheung@hkcricket.org.
