Hong Kong squad named for the ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier

The Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA) has announced the team to represent Hong Kong at the ICC Under-19 World Cup to be played in Toronto, Canada from 1-13 September 2009.

The Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA) is pleased to announce the following team to represent Hong Kong at the ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier 2009 to be played in Toronto, Canada, from 1-13 September 2009:

The team will depart for Canada on 23rd August 2009.
The ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier is a tournament involving the ten best Under-19 Associate and Affliate teams from around the globe. Each team has reached the final of the ICC's five regional tournaments. A top six finish in Toronto will qualify Hong Kong for the 2010 ICC Under-19 World Cup to be played in New Zealand.
Hong Kong qualified for the tournament after winning the ACC Under-19 Elite Cup 2009 played in Kuwait during April/May 2009. Afghanistan was the other qualifier from the Asia region.
