ICC Executive Board Media Advisory

The ICC Executive Board will meet in Johannesburg on Friday and Saturday this week

The ICC Executive Board will meet in Johannesburg on Friday and Saturday this week. Major agenda items for discussion will include:
  • A preliminary review of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003, including issues arising from forfeited matches in Zimbabwe and Kenya, and contracts disputes involving India and Sri Lanka
  • Structural and financial proposals relating to Kenya's application for Test match status
  • Review of the format of the ICC Test Championship (the official ICC rankings based on Test match results)
  • Anti Corruption reports from the Chairman of the ICC Code of Conduct Commission, Michael Beloff QC
A media conference covering the outcomes of the Board meeting will be held with ICC President Malcolm Gray and Chief Executive Malcolm Speed, at 17:00 hours in the Palazzo Monte Casino Hotel, Four Ways, Johannesburg on Saturday 22 March. Please note that there will be no media access to the meeting prior to this conference.
