The BCCI have released the initenary for the 4-nation Independence Cup to be held in India from May 9 to 28. Pakistan, Sri
Lanka, and New Zealand will join hosts India in the one-day tournament to celebrate India`s 50th independence anniversary. Pakistan agreed to take part in the tourney with India to reciprocate by playing in The Jinnah Cup in Pakistan later in the year
to celebrate Pakistan`s 50th independence anniversary.
THE ITINERARY
May 9: Pakistan v New Zealand at Delhi or Kochi.
May 13: Pakistan v Sri Lanka at Gwalior.
May 14: India v New Zealand at Bangalore.
May 17: India v Sri Lanka at Mumbai.
May 20: Sri Lanka v New Zealand at Hyderabad.
May 21 : India v Pakistan at Chennai.
May 24: First final at Mohali, Chandigarh
May 27 : Second final at Eden Gardens, Calcutta.May 28
(Wednesday): Third final (if required) at Calcutta.
