Having been outplayed for much of the past couple of weeks, India finally hit form to win the second one-day international against Pakistan on Saturday and all of a sudden the five-match series is wide open once more.
Pakistan, who dominated the first match, remain favourites at 4/7 (1.57) while India, who had drifted after match one, are back into 5/4 (2.25) on the back of their comfortable win in Rawalpindi.
Now, the series moves on to Lahore on Monday for the thirdmatch, a venue where they have won 25 of 40 one-day matches there. They did lose one of the two matches there against England before Christmas, but they will still be confident, even if they have lost two of the five matches against India on the same ground.
India will be buoyed by their excellent showing in Rawalpindi and they are even money (2.00) to take the lead in the series, while Pakistan shade favouritism at 8/11 (1.72).
Yuvraj to repeat?
Yuvraj Singh, who top-scored on Saturday, is 11/2 (6.50) to repeat the feat, but that market is, as always, headed by Sachin Tendulkar, who is the 7/2 (4.50) favourite. Captain Rahul Dravid and opener Virender Sehwag are both 4/1 (5.00). Mahendra Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir are both 6/1 (7.00).
bet365 can't split Salman Butt, captain Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Yousuf, making them all joint favourites at 4/1 (5.00). Younis Khan is 9/2 (5.50), while Kamran Akmal is 5/1 (6.00) and Shoaib Malik is 11/2 (6.50).
Monday's match is a day-nighter and unusually for those kind of matches, there seems to be little advantage to batting first. Nine of the 17 day-nighters there have been won by the side batting first, while the chasing team has won eight.
