India yet to submit nominee
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not submitted the names of its candidates for the post of development officers of the Asian Cricket Council, one week after the expiry of the deadline

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not submitted the
names of its candidates for the post of development officers of the
Asian Cricket Council, one week after the expiry of the deadline.
An ACC official said Monday that while both the Sri Lankan and
Pakistan Cricket Boards had sent in their nominations before the July
10 deadline, India had yet to respond.
"We have not sent through any reminders to them but we were hoping to
hear from them in time," said the official, who did not want to be
named.
According to plan one development officer each from Pakistan, India
and Sri Lanka is to be selected by a panel of ACC officials headed by
the president of the council, Lt. Gen Tauqir Zia, who also heads the
PCB.
Other members on the panel are Jagmohan Dalmiya, chairman of the Asian
Cricket Foundation, Zakir Hussain Syed, secretary ACC, Syed Ashraful
Haque, secretary Bangladesh Cricket Board and Duleep Mendis, chairman
of the ACC development committee.
Meanwhile the PCB has named Mushtaq Muhammad, Shafqat Rana, Iqbal
Sikandar and Zaheer Abbas as its candidates while the Board of Control
for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) has nominated Roy Dias,Brendon
Kuruppu and Rumesh Ratnayake.
The candidates are to be interviewed by the ACC panel in the first
week of August. The appointment of development officers will be for a
period of three years.
