BCCI pitches committee satisfied with Green Park pitch:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) pitch inspectors G

are satisfied with the Green Park stadium pitch and outfield at Kanpur
which will play host for the fourth one-day international between
India and Zimbabwe on December 11.
The two member BCCI pitches committee landed in Kanpur on Monday from
Cuttack where they had earlier inspected the Barabati Stadium. The
committee will be proceeding to other venues in Rajkot, Nagpur and
Delhi in the coming week.
The ongoing Ranji encounter at Hyderabad featuring the hosts and
Kerala, will go down in the history books as the 200th match for the
visitors. Moreover the match would also witness their skipper KN
Ananthapadmanabhan leading the side for the 25th match in the national
competition, the highest for any captain from the state.
Kerala, formerly known as the Travancore - Cochin team, entered the
fray during the 1950-51 season, under PM Raghavan's captaincy. They
played their first match against Mysore led by PR Shyamsundar. In
their 199 matches thus far Kerala have registered 24 victories and 117
losses. They have drawn four matches and two have been abandoned.
Ananthapadmanabhan, who made his debut against Hyderabad in the
