Ireland women will play their first international series in nearly a year when South Africa and Pakistan visit the country later this month for a Twenty20 tournament. The teams will play each other in Dublin in three Twenty20 matches on May 28 and three on May 29 for the RSA T20 Cup.
Ireland will also play a Twenty20 and a one-dayer against Pakistan on May 25 and 26 and an ODI against South Africa on May 31. Their last international matches were at home against South Africa in July-August 2008.
Pakistan and South Africa played the 50-over World Cup in Australia in March, where Pakistan performed exceptionally well to finish at sixth place, one spot above South Africa.
The two teams will also be playing the World Twenty20 in England in June.
