Jamaica Schools: KC defeat St. George's

Defending champions Kingston College (KC) completed a big 108-run
win over St. George's College in their Sunlight Cup semi-final at
Emmett Park yesterday.
Scores: Kingston College 206 all out, St. George's College 98 all
out.
Resuming on 195 for nine, KC added another 11 runs to their total
before Andrew Dennis (17) became the fourth batsman to be run out.
Sheldon Smith (two for 65), Shacurie Wilson (two for 27) and captain
Ramon Hutchinson (two for 42) were the leading bowlers for for St.
George's College.
In reply, St. George's College failed to come to grips with the
bowling of pacers Andrew Richardson, who grabbed six for 39, and
Martin Isaacs, two for 13, as their neighbours dismissed them for a
paltry 98. Only Ronaldo Fletcher with 28 and Daville Grant (21)
offered any resistance.
By virtue of this win, their second straight in the round robin
semi-final after beating Wolmer's recently, KC need only a draw
against St. Jago next Wednesday to advance to the finals.
At Lime Tree Oval: Jonathan completed a five-wicket win over
St. Andrew Technical (STATHS).
St. Andrew Technical made a paltry 134 all out on Tuesday with
Carlton Williams (33), captain Barrington Bartley Jnr. (26) and Rohan
Johnson (20) being the main contributors against Andre O'Sullivan,
four for 28, David Harrison two for 18 and Tamar Lambert two for 20.
Jonathan Grant, resuming on 73 for three, reached 135 for five with
David Harrison unbeaten on 62 and Lambert 41 the principal scorers.
At Heroes Circle: St. Jago beat Wolmer's by 23 runs.
Scores: St. Jago 286 all out (Raymond Smith 136 not out, Ryan
Campbell 48, Lindo Christie 35; Damion Reece six for 36, Carlton
Baugh Jnr. 3-113), Wolmer's 263 all out (Carlton Baugh 110, Donovan
Pagon 53; Calvin Walsh six for 72).
At Bridgeport: Waterford beat Bridgeport by 60 runs.
Scores: Waterford 218 all out (Ryan Smith 98, Peter Cavalero 30;
Maurie Evans 5-22) Bridgeport 158 all out (Camelio Ricketts 39,
Maurice Evans 23; Jermaine Lawson 5-33).
