Sachin Tendulkar has returned to the top of the PwC one-day ratings, at the end of the second round of Super Six matches. Matthew Hayden, who was top at the start of the World Cup, has slipped to third.
The rising star of the tournament so far has been New Zealand's Shane Bond, up 31 places to 11th. Martin Suji of Kenya, one of the most economical bowlers of the World Cup, has also climbed impressively, up 16 places to 13th. This is by far the best rating ever achieved by any player from the non-Test playing countries.
