Kepler Wessels has been appointed captain of South Africa for the
international series against Australia starting on Saturday. The
38 year old returned home after the historic victory over in
Sydney six weeks ago suffering from a broken finger and an
arthritic knee But he will resume duties in the first half of the
one day series at Wanderers on February 19. All rounder Adrian
Kuiper has been recalled with Eric Simons set for his first cap
although Daryll Cullinan has been left off.
