Peshawar, March 9: Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq leaves for
London on Saturday for medical check-up regarding his sudden illness
during the Rawalpindi Test.
Although there was no official words regarding the duration of his
stay in England, sources ruled him out of one-day action in Sharjah
and the West Indies.
"He may join the team in West Indies for the Tests if there was
nothing serious. But for the time being, he is out for at least three
to four weeks," sources said.
The official added that Azhar Mahmood was in England and he has
undergone the necessary tests for back problem."We are expecting
reports of his tests in the next couple of days. After we receive the
reports, we will know exactly what is the problem and how soon he can
return to national duty," the spokesman added.
