Somerset County Cricket Club have just announced a link up with two other top class sports clubs in the west country to be able to offer the Junior Sabres members of the Club a very attractive deal for 2003.
Thanks to the new arrangements all Somerset Junior Sabres will now be able to get free junior membership of Bristol Shoguns Rugby Club, and also enjoy free entry days to watch Bristol City Football Club.
Membership secretary Jo Arnold told me: "This is an amazing deal for the Junior Sabres and a must for all young sports fans. For just £25 they not only get free entry to 53 days of top class cricket in Taunton, but they can now also get to watch top class soccer and rugby in Bristol."
In addition to free entry to matches at Taunton all Junior Sabres are invited to meet the Somerset players at the very popular Junior Bashes that are held during the year. Junior Sabres also receive a birthday card and regular mailings also have the chance of being the Club mascot for the day.
Last year well over 850 young people signed up to join the Junior Sabres, which was the highest number for many years, and with what is on offer in 2003 it is quite likely that there will be even more this year.
Anyone who wants to find out more about becoming a Junior Sabre should contact Jo Arnold on 01823 272946.
