The South African cricket team will arrive in Lahore on Tuesday, September 30 at 0200 hours for a rescheduled tour of Pakistan, during which it will play five one-day internationals and two Tests. The team was earlier expected to arrive on Monday, September 29 via Karachi but will now be arriving directly from Dubai.
Graeme Smith is leading the team that also includes Mark Boucher, Jacques Kallis, Shaun Pollock, Neil McKenzie, Jacques Rudolph, Robin Peterson, Andrew Hall, Allan Dawson, Makhaya Ntini, Charl Langeveldt, Andre Nel, Boeta Dippenaar, Herschelle Gibbs and Paul Adams.
The team management includes Cassim Docrat (manager), Eric Simons (coach), Vincent Barnes (assistant coach), Gerald de Kock (media liaison officer), Adrian le Roux (fitness trainer), Gustav Obermeyer (computer analyst), Shane Jabaar (physiotherapist), Dr Mohammed Moosajee (team doctor), Bob Nicholls, Faisal Nagel (both security officers), Ray Mali (president United Cricket Board of South Africa), Steve Coetzee, Tim Southey (both observers).
Masoodul Hasan has been appointed local Liaison Officer.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has organized the Press Conference of Graeme Smith, Eric Simons and Cassim Docrat at the Pearl Continental hotel in Lahore on Tuesday, September 30 at 1300 hours. All the PCB accredited journalists are invited to attend the media access session and are requested to kindly come with the accreditation cards.
