It's nine out of nine for Alton - but next Saturday's showdown with Ventnor will be vital in the Southern Electric Premier League, Division 3 championship stakes.

Neil Westhorpe hit 94 as second placed Ventnor rimmed Hook & Newnham by 79 runs, while Chris Wheeler pounded a league-best 126 and shared a 185-run stand with Scott Sivier (80) as Winchester KS battered Portsmouth II into submission.

Martin Taylor's spell of 6-19 reduced Portsmouth to 172 all out.

John Western's unbeaten 121 was his second consecutive century for Leckford, but an undefeated ton by Erasmus Hendrikse eased Trojans home by seven wickets.
