Sponsorship & Support Appeal for the Hong Kong National Women's Cricket Team

The new Hong Kong National Women's Cricket Team, formed this year from players from the HKCA Women's Cricket League, is currently preparing for a major international tournament, a Women's World Cup Qualifying tournament vs test side Pakistan in Pakistan.

Preamble

This is an awesome opportunity as it gives Hong Kong a real chance of qualifying for the World Cup 2009!

HKCA has hired and appointed a coach and the the National Squad is training intensively, three times per week, as they prepare to represent Hong Kong and qualify for the next round of the Women's Cricket World Cup.

Support needed!

Because the Women's team has only just been formed and the Qualifying tournament agreed to by the Asian Cricket Council, the new team has missed budget provisioning for this financial year.

HKCA therefore seeks assistance to meet the costs of the training and preparations of our new representative team.

Assistance & support is sought to assist of:

Practice Balls
Cricket Equipment
Team Uniforms
Coaches Fee
Training Ground Hiring Fee

Total amount sought: HK$50,000

If you or your company could cover or help contribute to the costs of the balls, equipment or uniforms needed for the team preparations, HKCA and the Hong Kong National Team cricketers would be very appreciative.
