Talent there!

The former West Indies fast bowler of the glory days also believes that he and
his co-selectors chose the best possible team, which he reckons could still be
competitive.
But like captain Jimmy Adams, he believes the mental side of the game is
affecting the team.
"All the fellas in Australia have the natural ability and talent to do well,"
Garner said on Voice of Barbados' Sports Everywhere programme yesterday.
"It is now a mental game for them. The tour committee has to work to get them
mentally prepared, stop being sidetracked by media predictions and comments and
just go out and do the job."
Garner was speaking in the aftermath of the West Indies' crushing defeat by an
innings and 124 runs-their 14th loss in their last 16 Tests outside of the
Caribbean.
The victory was Australia's 11th Test win in succession, but Garner said he was
convinced that Jimmy Adams' side could still provide meaningful opposition
against Test cricket's most consistent team in recent years.
"Any one time those 16 players that we have in Australia play together and come
together as a unit, it is going to be very difficult for anybody to beat them,"
he said.
"We have got the talent there. If anybody can point me in the direction to say
that we have got a different 11 players who should be in Australia, then I have
no right being a selector."
Garner also said he intended to telephone skipper Adams last night to have a
"little talk with him".
"He must be the most disappointed person in the performance and he is going to
need a lift.
"We have a good understanding and it would be interesting to just sit down and
talk with him and lift him a little bit."
