What will happen to England?
The World Cup is set to be the biggest ever betting event and Bet365 have come up with a series of special markets to whet your appetite ahead of the big event, which starts on June 9
Bet365 are offering odds of 18/1 (19.00) that England face Germany in the World Cup 2006 final on July 9 in Berlin. This bet has been popular so far, even though the teams could meet as early as the last 16 stage depending on how their group matches pan out.
England are just 11/4 (3.75) with Bet365 to win all three of their World Cup group games. Sven Goran Eriksson's men face Paraguay in their first match, Trinidad & Tobago in their second game and Sweden last of all.
England were beaten in the last eight in Japan four years ago and Bet365 make them 11/4 (3.75) to repeat that effort in Germany. They also bowed out at the last-eight stage during Euro 2004 so there could be plenty of takers at the current odds.
