Yorkshire County Cricket Club today announced a loss for the year of £46,058.
Increasing cricket expenditure as well as ground expenditure was a contributory
factor, but the future looks bright with membership maintained and match income showing a healthy increase.
The Ground Redevelopment is on course for completion in time for the one-day international and Test match, when a new-look Headingley will be on show to the cricketing public.
Whilst it is a disappointing financial result, the Club is moving forward both on and off the field.
David Byas is to be proposed for Honorary Life Membership.
There are no Committee elections with the four retiring candidates returned
unopposed - Philip Sharpe (North), Sidney Fielden (South), Paul Ablett
(West) and Geoff Cope (Central).
The Club's Annual General Meeting is to take place on Saturday 23rd March
(10.30am) at the new Cricket Centre in St Michael's Lane.
