Both drawn games were severely affected by rain, with at least one entire day being lost due to rain in both cases. The previous drawn Test was played in Chittagong in 2007.

2004 Runs scored by Shakib Al Hasan in Bangladesh, making him the first batsman to scored 2000-plus runs on Bangladesh soil. Tamil Iqbal has scored 1897 runs in Bangladesh. Shakib also has the most Test wickets in Bangladesh (103).

8 Number of wickets taken by India's spinners during the first innings, the most for India against Bangladesh. Bangladesh's spinners once picked up nine wickets in an innings against India in Dhaka in 2000.
