Steve Bucknor will return to Test umpiring during the two-Test series between Bangladesh and South Africa this month. He has been named alongside Aleem Dar for the Tests in Dhaka and Chittagong.
Bucknor was dropped from standing in the third Test between Australia and India in Perth last month following his controversial performance in the second Test in Sydney.
ICC were criticised for the move, which many felt was an example of them bowing to pressure from the BCCI who threatened to pull out of the tour following the controversies in Sydney.
Bucknor has stood in a record 120 Tests and is third in the one-day standings behind David Shepherd and Rudi Koertzen on 167 matches.
