Bangladesh v NZ, 1st Test, Chittagong October 14, 2013

The Fulton paradox and other Chittagong subplots

There was much more to the first Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand than the result of a draw would suggest. has a handy recap of a few interesting subplots, including the curious case of Doug Bracewell's feet and Peter Fulton's abilities to cope with spin.

The Fulton Paradox
It seems completely counterintuitive but Peter Fulton is at his best when the ball is keeping low. It must be a long reach down, but from Eden Park to Chittagong that is when he is at his best. He may not be the sexiest watch at times, but his runs were vital.
