Karachi, Dec 3: The selection committee holds its first formal meeting when it assembles in Lahore for preliminary discussions on Saturday evening.
The chairman of selectors Salahuddin Ahmad said on Friday the selectors will be holding discussions with Pakistan captain Wasim Akram and get a feedback from him on the Australian tour.
He said Akram's views will be sought on his requirements for the tri-nation series in Australia for which the Pakistan team leaves on Dec 26.
Salahuddin said the team for the one-day series would be announced on Dec 15 and from Dec 17, a week's conditioning camp will be held in Lahore.
