Newlands fixture change

The United Cricket Board of SA recently announced changes to the Sri Lankan tour itinerary for their tour to South Africa in December 2000 and January 2001.

Sri Lanka are due to tour New Zealand after their SA sojourn and this has necessitated changes to their tour itinerary. The effect on fixtures at Newlands means that their final ODI against SA on 31 January 2001 will now be played at Newlands on 11 January 2000.

Also affected is a Standard Bank fixture involving Gauteng and Western Province at the Wanderers. This fixture will now be played on 16 December 2000 instead of 15 December 2000.
