Oldest captain to score a Test century

0 Number of captains who scored a century at an older age than Misbah-ul-Haq's 42 years, 47 days in the history of Tests. The previous oldest captain to make a Test century was Bob Simpson at 41 years, 359 days against India in Adelaide in 1977-78. This is Misbah's fifth-century after turning 40, all have come as captain; no captain scored more than three centuries after 40.
