ECB Pitch Panel Ruling on Trent Bridge Pitch

An ECB Pitch Panel was convened following day two of the Frizzell County Championship Division Two fixture between Nottinghamshire and Essex at Trent Bridge.

Interviews were held with the umpires, captains, coaches and groundsman. The panel's decision was that the pitch should be rated 'below average' and therefore no points penalty will be applied.
