watching this game it just simply reminded me of days growing up I have never seen England as a threat team to Pakistan from the era's of Darren Gough, there always were a few performers but it always seemed they tried to over do thing and here too what ironic is the rest of the upgraded classless cricket has to go back in time playing the early 90's cricket. this team going into the final i suggest should exclude Imad Wasim ( a future prospect but for this particular game he wont have much positive impact) of course bring Amir back on as his replacement reconsidering to readjust batting after this switch, furthermore i doubt they would look into with an open choice between Fahim and Shadab and selection should be purely based on some understanding of the conditions. rest best of luck to team Pakistan and who knows in the final the tides turn but if not id always view this CT as my last ICC tournament with final breaths of actual cricketing class having proper balance between bat&ball

Very interesting , firstly a top class all round performance by Pak , they deserve the win. If this pattern continues i.e the top ranked teams being knocked off one by one , then Ind. will go next and Pak in the finals. Ban will be world chaps 2017.

Well done to Pakistan, I hope they beat Bangladesh in the final.

So pakistan were never favorites in any of their matches. Including one against sl since sl were coming off a victory against mighty Indians. This shows that people don't have that much faith in Pakistan's cricket since it isn't as professional a unit as others in the tournament. But it's the talent and sheer desire to win that's showing now. If this intent is sustained, I see pakistan winning this trophy. However the praise pakistan will receive if they beat India (2nd favorites at the start of the tournament) would be much greater than the praise they've received for beating England(most favorite for the tournament). Best of luck pakistan, time to shine one more time.

Pakistan can win it all. Yes it can beat india if they get rid of babar and shoaib malik and keep asif and wahab away from pakistan.

The host England had the best of the weather conditions in the whole tournament. The rain also arrived on time when they were reeling at 35 for 3 wickets against the Aussies which was a blessing in disguise to help them recover from a precarious position. Pakistan has not only exposed England's weaknesses but also proved what an ordinary cricket team they are against a raw, talented and young Pakistani side who have confounded all their critics by their gallant performance in the Champions Trophy.

Don't know what the big fuss is all about? Pakistan is a top team just like England is. It was funny how some cricket players reacted when Pakistan lost to India. They said this was a very weak Pakistan team and so on. Now they are all praising Pakistan and singing a different tune. They should know how luck plays a factor in the game of cricket, especially in the shorter version. Should be very interesting if Bangladesh win's against India today.
