Makhaya Ntini poor form continued into this Test as well, bagging only one wicket. Ntini's bowling average in away Tests is 38.52, and marginally above 40 in the subcontinent. With Shaun Pollock averaging 22.55 in Pakistan, it will be interesting to see if Ntini keeps his place for the next Test.
Jacques Kallis, the Man of the Match, became the fourth South African player to score a hundred in each innings of a Test. Kallis now has 26, and is the only player with over 25 centuries not to have scored a double-hundred.
