Lance Klusener grabbed 5 for 36 as the Dolphins completed a comprehensive innings-and-29-run win over the Warriors at East London. Klusener's spell buried the Warriors after they had been forced to follow-on, 208 runs behind. He removed both openers with the new ball, before returning to break a stubborn partnership between Johan Botha and Justin Kreusch. That double strike from Klusener opened the door for the Dolphins and, despite Abongile Sodumo's 26, they weren't to be denied.
Nicky Boje again led from the front as the Eagles produced a brilliant last-day performance to beat the Lions by 129 runs. Boje set up the chance of a positive result with a brave declaration, setting the Lions 223. Then, he took the new ball and removed Alviro Petersen with his first delivery. That early wicket set in motion a rapid demise as the spinners produced a superb show. The highest score was 17 as Boje and Thandi Tshabalala shared eight wickets. Earlier in the day, Davey Jacobs' unbeaten 113, plus a busy 32 from Boje, set up the Eagles' declaration.
The Titans needed just over 16 overs to wrap up a commanding innings-and-five-run victory against the Cape Cobras at Benoni. Beginning on 95 for 5 it was really only a matter of time until the Cobras succumbed, and the end came quickly. Derrin Bassage's determined 66 was ended by Paul Harris, who then ran through the tail to finish with a career-best 6 for 54.
