Lehmann plays 100th first class game, surpasses 11,000 runs

The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) has congratulated Darren
Lehmann who today plays his 100th first class game for South Australia.
In addition, in today's game against NSW at the SCG, Lehmann has
surpassed 11,000 runs in Pura Cup/Sheffield Shield competition.
State Player of the Year in 2001, for the third successive year, Lehmann
also has today surpassed 9,000 runs for South Australia in Pura
Cup/Sheffield Shield competition.
Lehmann is the leading all time run scorer in Pura Cup/Sheffield Shield
games, after surpassing the previous record, held by Jamie Siddons,
during the SA v Vic game at the MCG in December 2001.
The SACA's chief executive, Mike Deare, said today marks another
significant milestone in Lehmann's highly decorated career.
"Darren is a talented cricketer, who shows outstanding leadership to his
team-mates. Today's achievements add to the many highlights during his
very distinguished career," said Mr Deare.
