Bangladesh v Pakistan, 2014-15

Wisden's review of the Twenty20 International, Bangladesh v Pakistan, 2014-15

15-Apr-2016
Twenty20 international At Mirpur, April 24, 2015 (floodlit). Bangladesh won by seven wickets. ‡Pakistan 141-5 (20 overs) (Mukhtar Ahmed 37, Haris Sohail 30*); Bangladesh 143-3 (16.2 overs) (Shakib Al Hasan 57*, Sabbir Rahman 51*). MoM: Sabbir Rahman. T20I debuts: Mustafizur Rahman, Soumya Sarkar (Bangladesh); Mohammad Rizwan, Mukhtar Ahmed (Pakistan).
The return of Shahid Afridi briefly threatened to derail Bangladesh, but two deliveries after blasting a six he was undone by Mustafizur Rahman, a 19-year-old debutant left-arm seamer. Afridi looked miffed at the caught-behind decision, even asking if DRS was available (it wasn't). Pakistan's eventual total looked light, and so it proved, although Bangladesh declined to 38-3 before Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman wrapped things up with a stand of 105*.
